Angel Romero

 

In 1989, Angel Romero and his team traveled to Taylor Michigan to represent Puerto Rico in the Junior Little League where they won The World Series. He attended Imperial Valley College for a short period of time before moving back to Puerto Rico and signing Double A at the young age of 18. Signed by his hometown team of Manati, Puerto Rico, Angel achieved an impressive ERA of 1.27 during his first year of pitching.

 

He is now the proud owner of World Baseball Academy in Spring, Texas and is an Associate Scout for The Toronto Blue Jays.

 

Angel’s baseball career has carried him far and instilled a life-long passion for the game that is contagious and his coaching philosophy builds outstanding athletic ability, a strong work ethic and character among those he mentors.
